I have worked on this on and off over the past few months. I recently revisited it to make some adjustments to the eyes and mouth to give the image a greater sense of mood. I don't often do character work but quite enjoy it when I have the time. It was all pained in Photoshop. I used this Royalty Free image by photographer "Bas" as a reference:

But wasn't too strict about replicating the likeness as I wanted it to stand on its own and not simply be a portrait. In the end the facial structure was reworked to be quite different
